Waifu Trainer is a bare-basic clicker game. Once you click the screen enough times to purchase your first “LOVE ABILITY”, the remainder of the game is waiting game. LOVE ABILITIES grant passive income, saving your mouse and fingers from thousands of clicks. You may also purchase “LOVE TOUCHES”, which offer sexual imagery. Focusing on LOVE ABILITIES first, it’s possible to unlock all LOVE TOUCHES in about ten or fifteen minutes.

There are ten base, animated CGs of varying quality. It’s too bad they’re mostly awful! The artwork isn’t bad, but the animation is among the worst I’ve seen. It’s as if the animators slapped an “underwater” effect on assorted hentai — you can even see the edges the images as they are stretched back and forth! Simply loading a new animation proves to be too much for the game as it visibly chugs (loading only bits and pieces at a time!) I wouldn’t be surprised if the gallery was ripped from an unsuspecting artist.

I was promised “Nice music” — it sounds about as nice as a royalty free ukulele tune. It doesn’t take long to repeat, and it’s the only sound in the game. It’s either the stock melody are total silence (and I preferred the latter).

I had to fight the user-interface! Not only would it fail to respond, it would open and close on its own. Whenever I wanted it gone, it’d block my view — when I wanted it open, it’d run away! Navigation is a nightmare with unnecessary pop-ups and dysfunctional, scrolling menus. There is so much unnecessary text, you’d think Horny69Team is trying to hide something! Beyond the hentai, there’s only a unmoving blue background. Considering the state of the game, it was easily the best part of my playthrough.

Sometimes, I’m reminded just how god awful games can be. Waifu Trainer is a example of the lowest low — everything about this game is bad! It’s dysfunctional, poorly balanced and visually confusing. The gallery is worse than having no gallery at all. If anyone recommends this game to you, you should question their integrity. I can offer a little leeway for dollar-games, but Waifu Trainer costs twice as much as otherwise competent software! Until Horny69Team gets their act together, I’d stay far away from this game.
