I’m not sure what to call this game. . . it’s a sort of a puzzle game that reminds me of “marbles”. You know, that game where you try to hit your opponent’s glass bobbles off a playing field by flicking your own bobbles at them?
You have a playing board that is covered with two or more playing pieces (called “runes”). Runes can be “flicked” in any direction that is intersected by another rune. When a rune hits another, it will stop in place and cause the other to move until it collides with another (or falls off the board). A rune cannot interact with an adjacent rune — there must be a space between two playing pieces for them to move. If you screw up, you can “undo” your moves at will. The goal is remove all but one playing piece from the board.
Each game you win will result in a nearby lady ditching another article of clothing. Oh wait! Now I’m listening!
Story
Some guy has opened a portal to another world. He jumped inside, and somehow managed to bang himself up. He is collected (and mended) by Mara, a green skinned, four-armed healer. He finds himself in the castle of Magus. Mara thinks that she is a spy, and intends on sucking him dry. Apparently, he has the Royal Blood, which grants him a chance to fight for his freedom. He must earn the throne, or perish. Lucky for him, he’s the only male in the competition, which means that he doesn’t need to learn as much to participate. His adversaries are tasked only with defending themselves (using a set of magic runes). After breaking down their armor, he must seize their bodies — and by that, Mara means that he must copulate with them (whether they like it or not).
And that’s when we learn that the protagonist is actually part incubus. Plot twist!
Visuals
The game opens up with four prompts — all of which written in Russian. Following that screen is a language selection screen. Wait, shouldn’t we be allowed to set a language first? Anyways, the titlescren looks promising; the art is good, and animated too; and the interface is clear and easy to navigate. You are able to adjust audio and display preferences from “Settings”. CGs and music can be reviewed from the “Gallery” and “Music” choices. Overall, I found the interface and visual effects to be amateurish, but serviceable.
The Goods
This game has some rockin’ CGs. . . but not very many of them (six), and none too saucy. The sex scenes are short lived and not very sexy. If this game is meant to be erotic, it fails. Each character does have a nude portrait. . . but beyond that, there isn’t much to see.
. . . expect female nudity.
Verdict
If you like boobies and forgiving (but sometimes challenging) puzzles, I think you’ll like this game — I recommend it. The adult-content of this game seems like an afterthought, but it is welcomed nonetheless. Purchase this game for the game first, ‘n boobies second.
